Super-duper cute, girl. Truly the most adorable head and face. We must not be alone thinking that because this girl gets photographed all the time by visitors, media, etc.
Freedom has a nice frame & fleece. Freedom's histogram for an 8-year-old producing dam still came in with an average micron - nice uniformity and high frequency crimp. This girl ranks "really" well in her EPDs also. I had to give up one of her cute photo's just to post those stats. Really with all the registered huacayas out there top 1, 5, 15 & 25% in the majority of categories!
One of her offspring Aslan has fine, nice bright fleece in a beautiful dark brown/red color with that real full face coverage, the kind you have to trim eyes so they have vision. We sheared everything and it grew back in again at 4 years old! We think he is so adorable with his sweet disposition.
Because of her vicuna coloring, we decided to roll the dice with a grey sire and low and behold dark, silver-grey she had. Honestly he is one of our most favorite alpacas born here. Stunning looks and nice fleece. We went for a repeat breed with 4-Sight's Crawford and she delivered a true black gorgeous guy. 2021 she birthed yet another male. We had a little seller's remorse over selling this beautiful dense true black and then she had a black with white marked almost like a tuxedo & bowtie - aptly named him Freedom's Formal Attire.
We bred her quite a few times after she gave birth to her last cria who is now 2 years old. She has not taken so she is available to someone who wants a pretty, treat-motivated alpaca.
